Magners provide glory night for Northern Ireland sport

It was a night full of pride and joy - a night when Northern Ireland reflected on the wonderful sporting achievements of its own in 2007.

Magners once again sponsored the Northern Ireland Sports Awards in conjunction with the Belfast Telegraph an event which acknowledges local, national and international performances.

One of the major awards was the Magners Northern Ireland Team of the Year and young Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty: who has become an influential figure in the Northern Ireland international football set-up, flew over from Manchester to collect the coveted award.M

Former boxing world champion Barry McGuigan was welcomed into the Magners Hall of Fame by Norman Trotter Northern Ireland Sales Director C&C NI, Martin Lindsay Editor Belfast Telegraph and Nicola McCleery Magners Marketing Manager.
